Heath Crescent needs a new crossing
Heath Crescent remains a nightmare for
pedestrians and drivers. The road is narrow,
the bend and the school fence restricts
visibility and there is a lot of traffic.
Despite the presence of a primary school
and an old people’s home, there is still no
crossing for pedestrians. The Council has
been asked several times to provide one but
nothing has ever happened.
Cllr Russell Field thinks it is now time that
the Council acted. He said, “There are plans
to expand Stoke Heath School, yet there are
no plans to make crossing to the school any
safer. This is wrong and dangerous.”
